Smart juveniles IRREGULAR WARFARE and TAWAFAG, and four-year-old DINOO make it 3/3 for the yard on this evening's Wolverhampton card!

Saxon Warrior juvenile IRREGULAR WARFARE shaped with promise on debut when chasing home subsequent G3 Horris Hill Stakes winner Knight, and he delivered on that promise today with an impressive front-running performance under David Egan which saw him shed his maiden tag on only his second racecourse appearance.

Congratulations to owner HH SH Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, he looks like an exciting prospect and we look forward to watching him build on this performance.

Following his stablemate's lead, two-year-old TAWAFAG put up a thrilling performance to notch a first career success at the second time of asking. Overcoming a hampered start, the Starspangledbanner colt dug deep under Andrea Atzeni and battled all the way to the line to just get the better of Ferensby in a photo finish.

Congratulations to owner Sheikh Ahmed Al Maktoum.

Four-year-old DINOO made it 3/3 on the card for the yard under a superb ride from David Egan. Travelling towards the rear of the field for the majority of the 1m1½f handicap contest, DINOO left it all until the final furlong where he surged from off the pace, bursting through in the final strides to win by a short head.

Congratulations to connections!
