Merry Fox Stud’s VOODOO QUEEN went one better today than on her last time out at Newcastle in November to score on her seasonal debut in the Betfair Maiden Fillies' Stakes. The 3YO Frankel filly put her experience to good use to get off the mark, despite facing plenty of pressure, she ran on well to hit the line in front one length ahead of ELEGANT VERSE from the John and Thady Gosden yard.

LEGEND OF DUBAI completed the double, bolting up in the final of the day, proving he was no match for his rivals in the Daily Tips On Betting Betfair Handicap. The son of the dual 1m2f Group 1 Winner Speedy Boarding has put in a smart performance to justify market favouritism, it will be exciting to see what more he has to show this season.
