RESOLUTE MAN and BROADSPEAR get the week off to a flying start with a cross-card double at Yarmouth and Windsor that saw both of them notch their first career success.

Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum's homebred RESOLUTE MAN got his career off to a perfect start in the opening contest at Yarmouth today. Travelling strongly and prominently throughout, the Dubawi juvenile responded gamely when shaken up 2f from home to cruise up the nearside rail under David Egan and make an eye catching winning debut.

Congratulations to Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum, he looks a smart prospect for the future.

After knocking on the door all season it was BROADSPEAR's day in the sun today, as the Highclere Racing-owned three-year-old was driven home by Jack Mitchel to break his maiden in good style at Windsor Races.

Breaking smartly, BROADSPEAR raced prominently from the get go to shadow early race leader DARKEST DREAM. 3f from home he kicked away to take up the lead along the running rail, with a driving ride from Jack Mitchell delivering to break his maiden by a comfortable margin.

Congratulations to Highclere Racing and connections!
