Owned by Sheikh Mohammed Obaid, Yourtimeisnow endured a troubled passage through in a messy contest at Goodwood earlier in the month, but she proved that form all wrong by beating the highly-touted Alhakmah by two and a quarter lengths having travelled powerfully under Andrea Atzeni.

There was a further four lengths back to the Clive Cox-trained Heritage in third and this looks a useful performance from the daughter of Charm Spirit, who cost 120,000 guineas at Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale and is out of a half-sister to US Grade 1 winner Stroll.

Later in proceedings, Mojika produced a strong-staying performance upped to 1m2f for the first time to see off the Ismail Mohammed-trained My Heart by three lengths in the fillies’ novice at Wolverhampton.

The daughter of Redoute’s Choice had finished second on her previous three outings, but she showed a fine attitude to take up the running in the home straight before asserting her superiority inside the final furlong.

Roger said: “Yourtimeisnow is a bright prospect who built on the promise of her debut run at Newmarket. She’s got plenty of speed and responded well to the removal of the hood. We will most likely look at something better for her now. Mojika is a progressive filly who saw out this new trip well. This opens up more options looking ahead and she is capable of winning more races.”
