Owned by Sheikh Mohammed Obaid, the daughter of Nathaniel made significant late headway on her debut at Haydock in June and she showed the benefit of that experience when accounting for the once-raced Ben Vrackie by a length and a quarter.

Despite a tardy break, Elasia was able to adopt a prominent position under a pro-active Andrea Atzeni and she found herself nicely placed off a modest early gallop, taking up the running inside the final quarter mile and always looking like winning despite the pack closing in on her late.

A 200,000 guineas purchase from Book 2 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, Elasia is a half-sister to the Listed winner Elas Ruby being out of a half-sister to the high-class stayer Pallasator and she looks a sure-fire improver with time and racing.
