Lehoogg made a pleasing debut at two over 7f at Yarmouth in September, where he finished a close fourth behind three horses with previous racecourse experience. He made a good impression when breaking his maiden on his seasonal reappearance at three, when overcoming a wide draw to win a mile novice at Kempton. He has been placed twice since that victory, beaten only two lengths on both occasions.
